About the event

A hands on, interactive course for people who have studied and practiced Mussar, sponsored by Twin Cities Mussar. Partners are welcome.

Our end of life journey is part of our legacy. Over five sessions we will learn, discuss options and share stories from a Jewish perspective. Each person will then write their own health care directive, an important legal document. This will enable participants to advocate wisely with their heath care providers and feel more comfortable talking openly with family and loved ones; and learn how to start conversations with loved ones about health care preferences.

Workshops include 5 facilitated sessions, your legal health care directive documents, and a binder with current handouts. Maximum of 12 participants.

Guiding Middot

Hitlamdut: Engage with curiosity about end of life choices

Ometz Lev: Share in courageous conversations about death and dying in a safe, supportive, confidential community

Achrayut: Take responsibility for sharing your preferences

Kavod: Honor yourself and your loved ones with end of life decision making

Cost of 5-session workshop is $120 per person or $100 each for more than one family member.
